Pakistani Activist Kareem Khan claims he was kidnapped from his home on Feb. 5th and tortured while being interrogated, later he would be blindfolded and released on the outskirts of the Capital of Pakistan. Khan's lawyer told reporters "he was blindfolded and interrogated in two different locations and in both locations he was tied up and beaten on the soles of his feet. " He also added "at first his interrogators wore police uniforms and later civilian clothes."

"He was told not to go near media when he was released. If you speak with media, they said, we will come back for you." said Khan's Lawyer.

Khan became an activist after his brother and son were both killed in a drone strike in 2009. Khan also filed a lawsuit against the CIA and the Pakistani Government over the deaths in Pakistani court.

"The United States prizes drones for their accuracy in killing al-Qaida and Taliban militants and says they cause minimal civilian casualties." Reported Katharine Houreld from Reuters.

Drone strikes have become a sore spot in relations between the USA and Pakistan. Every year civilians are killed and the outcry from the public grows, yet it seems they will continue.

Below is the rough estimate from U.S. government sources on casualties from drone strikes.

Good Info. Enjoy.

Jan 1,  2014, tens of thousands of patriotic gun owners made the pro-freedom choice not to register their semi-automatic rifles with the state of Connecticut as required by a rushed law passed in the wake of the school shooting.

Police have recieved 47,916 applications for "assault weapons certificates" and 21,000 incomplete applications as of Dec. 31. Lt.Paul Vince told The Courant.

With only 50,000 applications, roughly 15% of covered semi-automatic rifles have been registered with state. “No one has anything close to definitive figures, but the most conservative estimates place the number of unregistered assault weapons well above 50,000, and perhaps as high as 350,000,” the report states."

With the new gun-control law that passed in April, it seems 20,000 upto 100,000 people are now in direct violation of the new law that carries a Class D felony.

Mike Lawlor, “the state’s top official in criminal justice,” suggested maybe the firearms unit in Connecticut could “sent them a letter.” However, he said an aggressive push to prosecute gun owners in the state is not going to happen at this point. -theblaze.com

DHS is set to purchase another 22.7 million dollars worth of ammo, according to a Government Accountability Office report.

DHS has over 70,000 armed personal and the ammo purchases they claim go to firearm training and qualification requirements. So that means 300 rounds of ammo per armed personal for this year alone for training?

DHS components maintain inventories of ammunition to help ensure they have sufficient ammunition for the training and operational needs of their officers, as there can be months-long delays between placing an order for ammunition and receiving it,” GAO reports. “As of October 2013, DHS estimates it had approximately 159 million rounds in inventory, enough to last about 22 months to meet the training and operational needs of its firearm-carrying personnel.” -thedailycaller.com

So they use hollow point ammo for target pratice? That's strange. In firearm training in the military we only used full metal jacketed rounds and we would commonly hear about how budgets were tight and we needed to make every round count. Heck, we couldn't afford to shoot hollow points if we wanted too.

It seems DHS is the new federal police/standing army in the country and we should all be very weary about it.

SWAT Team Kills 80 Year Old Retired Engineer in Bed During Raid For ...
An 80 year old man was shot and killed by police officers after they thought we was cooking meth in his home.  The elderly mans name is Eugene Mallort, a retired engineer living in rural the fringes of Los Angeles County.

L.A. County sheriff's deputies busted into Mr. Mallort's front door because Patrick Hobbs a narcotics expert "smelled the strong odor of chemicals" coming from the home.

After the deputies stormed in, they saw Mr. Mallort walking down the hall with a gun and Sgt. John Bones said he told Mr. Mallort to drop his gun but he refused and they shot him.  Shortly after the deputies changed their story because blood was found next to the bed, which indicates he was in bed at the time he was shot.

When the audio tapes of the shooting were released it clearly showed they shot Mr. Mallort before asking him to drop the gun.  In total six shots were fired. Mr. Mallory's gun was still on the night stand with no bullets fired.

Mr. Mallort's widow is now filing a wrong death suit against the L.A. County Deputies Office.

The Police State goes marching on.

Included In the Mindful Patriot's Article: China and Taiwan form Truce As War With Japan Approaches. was information on how nations will be making new alliances before a war breaks out in the region . Today it was announced that the United States will take the side of the Philippines in the event conflict breaks out in the region over the Senkaku Islands and surrounding waters.

Commander of the United States Navy Admiral Jonathan Greenert said "of course we would help you" when questioned by a Filipino student in a lecture earlier this week. Greenert quickly added to clarify it didn't mean war by saying;

"I don't know what that help would be specifically. I mean, we have an obligation because we have a treaty. But, I don't know in what capacity that help is."

So before our eyes we are seeing alliances being formed and treaties being signed. Look back through history and see what it means when countries start to make treaties and alliances very quickly.
China has never relinquished its claim over the islands and lately have made more threatening statements against Japan and their allies. China has also claimed they will build a missile launch site on the moon and claim they have new aircraft that can travel 13000 miles per hour. One thing is for certain when the fiat currency fails around the world, China will be knocking on our door for payment and when we can't pay, it will be war on our soil.

Last January federal background checks for firearms topped out at 2.5 million according to the FBI. This year background check totals were only one third of that number.

"The last two years gun shop owners and consumers complained about shortages of ammo and firearms." said all mainstream media outlets.

The government is blaming the public for ammo and firearm shortages from the previous year? Really?
Last March,  Forbes.com published an article that fully exposed the purchase of 1.6. billion rounds of hollow point ammunition and MRAP's . Hollow point ammo is banned from use in war by the U.N. for being inhumane yet, DHS claimed they were for target practice?  Sure. The article also asked the question why?

"It is utterly inconceivable that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is planning a coup d’etat against President Obama, and the Congress, to install herself as Supreme Ruler of the United States of America." -forbes.com
The shortage was caused by the government to discourage ammo sales and to leave more Americans defenseless. Obama himself has admitted to not wanting Americans to have firearms, don't believe me? Professor John Lott had a conversation with young Obama about firearm ownership and this is what Obama said.

“When I was first introduced to Obama (when both worked at the University of Chicago Law School, where Lott was famous for his analysis of firearms possession),
he said, ‘Oh, you’re the gun guy.’
I responded: ‘Yes, I guess so.’
’I don’t believe that people should own guns,’ Obama replied.
I then replied that it might be fun to have lunch and talk about that statement some time.
He simply grimaced and turned away. …
Unlike other liberal academics who usually enjoyed discussing opposing ideas, Obama showed disdain.”
Obama is the biggest threat to the 2nd amendment and to the right of self defense, proved by his own statements.

But why is the media not discussing the ammo purchases made by the government as a factor?
Because the majority of Americans are sheep. They believe what they are told and obey all commands if they come from the government and it's hard for them to believe the government is prepared for war with its citizens. After all, the sheer amount of ammo and material has been said to be enough for forty years worth of war.

Harvard University researchers who have developed a new robot technology recently published their work in the Journal of Science and presented it at the American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting last week.

The main advantages for this sort of technology is big. These bots can get into small spaces or too dangerous spaces where humans cannot go. But like any new technology, government gets it first. These bots could be used to infiltrate homes via plumbing or heating passages and collect audio, video or just to gain a map of the layout of the structure.

"We're not going to Mars anytime soon, but a more medium-term application might be to use similar robots in flood zones to build levees out of sandbags," study lead author Dr. Justin Werfel, of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, told BBC News.

In this day and age it seems privacy of the people is up for debate in the name of public safety, we have to keep an eye on any new technology that could have spying or combat capabilities and these bots have both.
"Normally, at the beginning, you have a blueprint and a detailed plan of how to execute it, and the foreman goes out and directs his crew, supervising them as they do it," One of the developers said in a press release. "In insect colonies, it's not as if the queen is giving them all individual instructions. Each termite doesn't know what the others are doing or what the current overall state of the mound is."
Imagine thousands of these robots being unleashed onto a building or town with plans to compromise structures and kill the enemy with small frag type explosives, without any oversight just pre-programmed instructions to do so. This technology will be the next battlefield tool on the ground while the unmanned drones attack from the sky. The Armed Forces are currently testing hundreds of unmanned vehicles, aircraft, submarines, ships and even robot soldiers.

North Korea is now evacuating a underground nuclear test site at a feverish pace officials said after they saw increased movement at the site via a spy satellite focused on the region. Officials think a detonation will occur soon but are not sure of an exact date.

In the past week, North and South have planned to have talks on future relations between the two and with this newest headline it seems the North is just trying to distract the world from their nuclear program. Iran is currently doing the same tactic and playing nice with the U.S. Something is in the works in the east.

The North could be planning a "false flag" attack against themselves to justify a military strike against South Korea. This strategy is not new by any means, Hitler used the Gleiwitz Incident in 1939 for example, to justify the war against Poland. Similarly, the effect of such an attack by North Korea would engulf the entire region and it's an easy guess what side China takes, but I can say the USA will be on the opposite side of what they choose.

"(we are..)...ready and able to deter North Korean aggression," Director of National Intelligence James Clapper told a news conference. "It is time for the North to choose the path of peace and refrain from provocations or using excuses to avoid the responsibility that they bear."

The latest Intel show's North Korea is currently expanding its enrichment facility.

A Federal appeals court on Thursday stuck down California's concealed-weapons rule, saying it violates the Second Amendment by making applicants show good cause and moral character. In other words, if we don't like you, you don't get one law.

The ruling was decided by a 2 to 1 vote. The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals 9th Circuit, wrote in their decision "California was wrong to require applicants to show good cause to receive a permit to carry a concealed weapon."

“The right to bear arms includes the right to carry an operable firearm outside the home for the lawful purpose of self-defense,” Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain wrote for the majority.
The Appeals Court reinstated the lawsuit filed in 2009 by Edward Peruta, who brought his case forward because he was denied a concealed-weapons permit in San Diego County. The ruling was the first reversed decision out of three similar cases heard in federal court.

Results were released by The Canadian National Breast Screening Study that came to the conclusion that breast cancer screening doesn't reduce the number of women who die from breast cancer. The study was based in Canada and was conducted for over 25 years and included data collected from doctors around the country.  The study suggests annual mammograms given to women in their 40's and 50's found more cancers, but didn't save more lives.

"The authors say that in countries where breast cancer treatment is state of the art, screening mammography doesn't appear to be more effective at reducing breast cancer deaths than regular breast self-examination plus an annual breast exam given by a medical professional." Reported the Canadian press.

Experts behind the study say its leading to over-diagnosis of breast cancer and 4 out of 5 women who have small amounts of cancer in their breast(s) are treated when they don't need too, because a little cancer isn't bad.

The American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging, issued a statement calling the study "an incredibly misleading analysis based on the deeply flawed and widely discredited Canadian National Breast Screening Study." The group said the findings should not guide policy on breast cancer screening, suggesting to do so "would place a great many women at increased risk of dying unnecessarily from breast cancer."

Canada has had free healthcare since 1984 under the Healthcare Act.

Is it an coincidence that the study was based in a country that is constantly trying to cut corners to save money in the healthcare system? Now that the USA requires healthcare for all citizens, even though many Americans cannot afford the premiums provided by the government.

Is this study a new scheme to sucker people out of preventive care, just to save a dollar? What ever the motive maybe, telling someone who has cancer in their body not to worry about it is wrong and goes against the Hippocratic Oath that every doctor takes.

The Belgium Parliament passed a bill legalizing euthanasia for terminally ill children without any age limit by a vote of 86 to 44. Belgium is the first country in the world to allow euthanasia for children who are terminally ill and request death.

The opposition to the bill argued that a child cannot make a decision of that magnitude and feared others would press a child into it.

In the Netherlands it is legal for children 12 and over with parents permission to be put to death. The Dutch require that the request be fulfilled by a doctor if the request is "voluntary and well-considered".

Many who are opposed to the law cite religious reasons and churches have also come out against the law too. Others argue that if a minor cannot make decisions about money or emotional issues how can they have the legal right to decide to die?  Some pediatricians have warned that vulnerable children could be put at risk under this law and have brought into question the ability for them to make such a big decision.

The question "should we allow children to choose death or life?" will now be a topic that more more countries will have to discuss.

Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen spoke before the House Financial Services Committee on Tuesday and vowed to continue the massive scale of money printing.

“*(she expects)....A great deal of continuity in the FOMC’s approach to monetary policy” . Said Yellen.

After the meeting markets picked up steam. The Dow Jones Industrial Average picked 192 points to finish Tuesday's trading session The Russel 2000 surgered .93 percent to end the day at 1,129. April gold futures advanced $16.60 (1.30 percent) to $1,291.30 per ounce.

Sounds like things are really bouncing back, right? Wrong. That old saying "those who forget history, are doomed to repeat it." comes to mind. Lets look at some history.

Right before the Stock Market Crash of 1929, markets were booming with prominent bankers shouting from the roof tops how great it was. Then on March 25, 1929, a mini crash happened after investors started to sell stocks at a rapid pace, which showed the public the shaky foundation of the markets. Banker Charles E. Mitchell tried to slow the crash and provided $25 million in credit to aid in recovery. The influx of the credit extended caused losses to drop from 20 to 8 percent. But it did little to halt the crash, many more signs appeared that showed the scale of what was occurring. Steel production fell to a new low, construction was sluggish, car sales were down and consumers were building up high debts because of easy credit. Then it all came down, a chain effect that left every sector of business in shambles. This was directly caused by speculation by investors that stocks would never fall and because of that, let the average Joe only pay half of the purchase while the other half would come from banks and creditors. In other words, you cannot give money that does not exist without repercussions, thus giving credit without having something real like gold to secure the debt given.

Yellen's push to continue printing fiat currency to offset inflation, is another version of speculation.

The markets responded positively, not because they think the markets are going to increase, but because they know it's crumbling down around them and to avoid losses, they are selling at a quicker pace to other less knowledgeable investors, like your local 401K or your local bank.

A Mindful Patriot source inside a mid-level investment firm has noted that they see an increasing sell off of precious metals like gold and silver. The source added many in the know, are labeling and actively informing their high volume clients that an "economic apocalypse" is fast approaching and is instructing them to divest now to collect while the market is high. The source predicts in six months to a year, the market landscape will be drastically different, with impacts being felt across the board.

If our source is correct, this means instead of speculation like in 1929, we will have super inflation happening so quickly that the Federal Reserve will not be able to offset it.  Like another black Tuesday, with such high volume of sell offs that the markets could drop by an 33% in one day. With a drop that large that quickly, it would never recover under any current strategy we know or use today.

10.p.m on January 29, Vidya Kaipa was on a train and captured a intoxicated black man refusing to get off the train but not posing a threat to anyone. An Officer is seen repeatedly asking him to get off the train, when the man asks why he needs to leave, the officer fires his taser at him and he falls to the ground.

So now it's legal for a cop to tase you...well..just because.

EarthmastersNPR will being running a story at 7 pm EST tonight, on All Things Considered about Geo-Engineering with special guest Clive Hamilton who is the author of Earth Masters: The Dawn Of The Age Of Climate Engineering. The topic of the show is planned to be about how nations will use risky technology to address the climate "catastrophe" that is heading our way.

Mr. Hamilton had this to say about what "could" possibly occur in the next ten years.

"So as the climatic emergencies unfold under the next decade," he says, "there's going to be a call for political leaders to do something. Desperate times call for desperate measures. For example, if you spray sulfur particles high into the stratosphere, scientists are confident that will cool the planet. It will doubtless have other unanticipated effects as well — and those could cause political conflict and ecological harm."

It is rather funny how he said "scientists are confident about the effects of sulfur particles in the stratosphere." Did they try it? Are they still using this method?

The people behind the new climate gate are scrambling for something fresh to scare us with and this time they picked something from their own scientific playbook and released it on the populace.

Was it to see if the low information public believes it or even cares?

Could it be that what some consider climate change is actually chem-trail related and used to scare us into a new agenda or order?

Or was it a well intended experiment that went horribly wrong?

It doesn't really matter why it started but it is clear they are already trying to shift blame onto the "evil" conservatives.

To that affect Mr. Hamilton added this:
Australian social scientist Clive Hamilton worries that a climate crisis will invite high-risk solutions.
" The politics of it are, for conservatives, extremely attractive," he says. "You don't have to put taxes on gas or electricity. You don't have to ask consumers to change their lifestyles. You don't have to take on fossil-fuel corporations. And, on the other hand, it's a kind of vindication of man's technological supremacy."

It should be noted that NPR receives all it's funding from donations with a partial budget allocated by the federal government. One of the largest private donors is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. As you know the Gates are one of the richest duos in the country and they are also one of the largest liberal policy supporters too. It is no wonder NPR is running this story that clearly twists Chem-trails into a future issue, even though it had started in the United States 50 years ago.

The Patriots over at Fair DUI have created a way to help citizens exercise their rights without saying a word at DUI check points. On their website Fair DUI they offer a free flyer to assist in shutting revenue collectors down. Below is an example:

On the YouTube channel  Honor Your Oath, you can see Mr. Gray exercising his rights while filming, open carrying and passing through check points of all kinds.

Mr. Gray also contributes to Photography Is Not A Crime. An awesome resource for anyone who wants to film police and other public officials.

So the next time you find yourself at a DUI checkpoint and you just want to be on your way, try this flyer. I did and I never had to roll down my window and I was on my way. Thanks guys!

Last year the United States saw the quickest decline in the
right to free speech. The new report from the World Press Freedom Index, showed the U.S. dropping 13 spots to 46th out 180 on the index. The study noted the public witch hunt for Edward Snowden and the prosecution of Bradly Manning by the U.S. Government for leaking secret information to the public.

"Investigative journalism often suffers as a result” of a “disturbing retreat from democratic practices,” the RWB report said.

Also used to determine the United States's rightful spot on the index, the report states thousands and thousands of Associated Press phone calls were intercepted. One of those was New York Times reporter James Risen who refused to testify against whistle blower Jeffrey Sterling and now faces a long prison sentence for exercising his Fifth Amendment right to remain silent.

Mr. Risen wasn't the only reporter unconstitutionally attacked. According to the World Press, numerous Journalists have been pressured with subpoenas to reveal sources that journalists need to have so that they can maintain and protect the balance of the citizen's right to know.

So what is the goal of this? Check out The Triangle's Shadow Theory . You will see the chain effect those who want to have an monopoly on control of information and how they also want to keep the  population distracted from the reality that the world we know is changing faster than they can keep up with.

The commander of Iran's Northern Navy Fleet, Adm. Afshin Rezayee Haddad, told Iranian media that the Irianian government would be sending ships to the Atlantic Ocean and into U.S. Maritime borders, which is 14 miles from land. The reason given was to protest the U.S.'s Fifth Fleet presence in the Persian Gulf.

"When they cross into the North Atlantic, we'll start the harassment," says Chris Harmer, an analyst at the Institute for the Study of War.

Michael Connell director of Iranian studies at the center for Naval Analysis, stated that serious interactions happen about twice a year and this sort of cat and mouse game is common.

Common? Maybe in the Persian Gulf, but allowing fully armed war ships in striking distance from our shores, especially near our Capital is scary to say the least.

Iran currently has the Shahab-3 "Shooting Star" missile that had a range of 1,000 miles and is capable of accommodating a substantial warhead. Although it is commonly believed the Iranians do not have nuclear weapons, the possibility is great they do considering their uranium enrichment program, this is not something we should leave to chance.

The U.S. Navy will have all eyes and hears glued to the convoy, given the Iranians antics to start war with the US Navy in the Persian Gulf, that included throwing cardboard boxes that were painted black to look like mines in front of US Warships or flying low over US ships with helicopters sending warnings over the radio,  the Navy will have to be prepared to counter any threat.
