SWAT Team Kills 80 Year Old Retired Engineer in Bed During Raid For ...
An 80 year old man was shot and killed by police officers after they thought we was cooking meth in his home.  The elderly mans name is Eugene Mallort, a retired engineer living in rural the fringes of Los Angeles County.

L.A. County sheriff's deputies busted into Mr. Mallort's front door because Patrick Hobbs a narcotics expert "smelled the strong odor of chemicals" coming from the home.

After the deputies stormed in, they saw Mr. Mallort walking down the hall with a gun and Sgt. John Bones said he told Mr. Mallort to drop his gun but he refused and they shot him.  Shortly after the deputies changed their story because blood was found next to the bed, which indicates he was in bed at the time he was shot.

When the audio tapes of the shooting were released it clearly showed they shot Mr. Mallort before asking him to drop the gun.  In total six shots were fired. Mr. Mallory's gun was still on the night stand with no bullets fired.

Mr. Mallort's widow is now filing a wrong death suit against the L.A. County Deputies Office.

The Police State goes marching on.

Included In the Mindful Patriot's Article: China and Taiwan form Truce As War With Japan Approaches. was information on how nations will be making new alliances before a war breaks out in the region . Today it was announced that the United States will take the side of the Philippines in the event conflict breaks out in the region over the Senkaku Islands and surrounding waters.

Commander of the United States Navy Admiral Jonathan Greenert said "of course we would help you" when questioned by a Filipino student in a lecture earlier this week. Greenert quickly added to clarify it didn't mean war by saying;

"I don't know what that help would be specifically. I mean, we have an obligation because we have a treaty. But, I don't know in what capacity that help is."

So before our eyes we are seeing alliances being formed and treaties being signed. Look back through history and see what it means when countries start to make treaties and alliances very quickly.
China has never relinquished its claim over the islands and lately have made more threatening statements against Japan and their allies. China has also claimed they will build a missile launch site on the moon and claim they have new aircraft that can travel 13000 miles per hour. One thing is for certain when the fiat currency fails around the world, China will be knocking on our door for payment and when we can't pay, it will be war on our soil.

Last January federal background checks for firearms topped out at 2.5 million according to the FBI. This year background check totals were only one third of that number.

"The last two years gun shop owners and consumers complained about shortages of ammo and firearms." said all mainstream media outlets.

The government is blaming the public for ammo and firearm shortages from the previous year? Really?
Last March,  Forbes.com published an article that fully exposed the purchase of 1.6. billion rounds of hollow point ammunition and MRAP's . Hollow point ammo is banned from use in war by the U.N. for being inhumane yet, DHS claimed they were for target practice?  Sure. The article also asked the question why?

"It is utterly inconceivable that Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is planning a coup d’etat against President Obama, and the Congress, to install herself as Supreme Ruler of the United States of America." -forbes.com
The shortage was caused by the government to discourage ammo sales and to leave more Americans defenseless. Obama himself has admitted to not wanting Americans to have firearms, don't believe me? Professor John Lott had a conversation with young Obama about firearm ownership and this is what Obama said.

“When I was first introduced to Obama (when both worked at the University of Chicago Law School, where Lott was famous for his analysis of firearms possession),
he said, ‘Oh, you’re the gun guy.’
I responded: ‘Yes, I guess so.’
’I don’t believe that people should own guns,’ Obama replied.
I then replied that it might be fun to have lunch and talk about that statement some time.
He simply grimaced and turned away. …
Unlike other liberal academics who usually enjoyed discussing opposing ideas, Obama showed disdain.”
Obama is the biggest threat to the 2nd amendment and to the right of self defense, proved by his own statements.

But why is the media not discussing the ammo purchases made by the government as a factor?
Because the majority of Americans are sheep. They believe what they are told and obey all commands if they come from the government and it's hard for them to believe the government is prepared for war with its citizens. After all, the sheer amount of ammo and material has been said to be enough for forty years worth of war.

Harvard University researchers who have developed a new robot technology recently published their work in the Journal of Science and presented it at the American Association for the Advancement of Science meeting last week.

The main advantages for this sort of technology is big. These bots can get into small spaces or too dangerous spaces where humans cannot go. But like any new technology, government gets it first. These bots could be used to infiltrate homes via plumbing or heating passages and collect audio, video or just to gain a map of the layout of the structure.

"We're not going to Mars anytime soon, but a more medium-term application might be to use similar robots in flood zones to build levees out of sandbags," study lead author Dr. Justin Werfel, of the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University, told BBC News.

In this day and age it seems privacy of the people is up for debate in the name of public safety, we have to keep an eye on any new technology that could have spying or combat capabilities and these bots have both.
"Normally, at the beginning, you have a blueprint and a detailed plan of how to execute it, and the foreman goes out and directs his crew, supervising them as they do it," One of the developers said in a press release. "In insect colonies, it's not as if the queen is giving them all individual instructions. Each termite doesn't know what the others are doing or what the current overall state of the mound is."
Imagine thousands of these robots being unleashed onto a building or town with plans to compromise structures and kill the enemy with small frag type explosives, without any oversight just pre-programmed instructions to do so. This technology will be the next battlefield tool on the ground while the unmanned drones attack from the sky. The Armed Forces are currently testing hundreds of unmanned vehicles, aircraft, submarines, ships and even robot soldiers.
